Commitment and Dedication

For more than 25 years, our dental centre has been known across the borders for providing first-class dental services.

Dr. Huemer's dedication to dentistry is deeply rooted in his early childhood. His father, Otto Huemer, was a dental practitioner who ran a dental practice until his death in 1977. Only six years later, Dr. Peter Huemer opened a panel practice focused on preventive dentistry. In the following year periodontal surgery became his special interest. In 1986 Dr. Huemer decided to run his practice on a private basis.

Since the advent of dental implantology in the late 1980ies he has been offering additional innovative options for tooth replacement with implant-supported restorations.

After a planning phase of several years, Dr. Huemer's vision of a private dental centre offering all types of dental and oral surgical procedures was realized in 2003.

From the very beginning, his wife Lydia Huemer has been in charge of the administrative and management staff. In the meantime, the elder of their two daughters, Dr. Bianca Huemer, has started her career as a dental surgeon in her father's dental centre, where she works with great commitment.

Also Vera Huemer, their second daughter, and Luela Birhanu, their foster child from Ethiopia, are currently eager students of dentistry in their third years. One day Luela, who is also a registered nurse, will continue the dental aid project initiated by Dr. Peter Huemer in Uganda.
